Terms of Service

Eden is a product of Lion & Lamb, LLC (“Lion & Lamb,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Eden, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Eden. We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice.

2. About Eden

Eden is a faith-informed companion app designed to support mothers through motherhood. Eden provides reflective tools, private family journaling, planning and tracking, and AI-assisted conversation. Eden is not a social network: it has no public feed, no member directory and no community posting. Eden is not a medical, therapeutic, or counseling service.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By using Eden, you represent that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

5. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it up to date. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. User Content

“User Content” includes journal entries, reflections, notes, child profile information, photos, and any other content you create within Eden.

You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting content to Eden, you grant Lion & Lamb a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, display (to you and to anyone you explicitly share with, such as a spouse or an invited caregiver), and back up your content solely for the purpose of operating and improving Eden.

We will not sell your content or use it for advertising. AI features may process your content to provide personalized responses, but this processing is subject to our Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable Use

Eden has no public feed and no member-to-member posting, so there is no shared space to moderate. These rules still apply to the content you create and to anything you share with a spouse or an invited caregiver. You agree not to:

• Share content that is harassing, threatening, abusive, or hateful
• Present yourself as a medical professional to anyone you share with
• Send or share spam, solicitations, advertising, or other commercial content, including through invitations, shared spaces, or messages to other people
• Share another person's private information without consent
• Store or share content that sexualizes minors or exploits children
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
• Attempt to manipulate or misuse Eden's AI features

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. AI-Assisted Features

Eden includes AI-assisted features that generate responses based on your inputs. AI responses are not reviewed by humans before delivery and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. AI responses do not represent the views or advice of Lion & Lamb. You should not rely on AI responses for medical, legal, financial, or other professional decisions. We are continually improving our AI systems but cannot guarantee accuracy.

9. Subscriptions & Payments

Eden may offer free and paid subscription tiers. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase.

Recurring Billing: Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until the period ends.

Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at the email below.

10. Founding Members

Users who join during the Founder Launch period may receive special designation as Founding Members. Founding Member benefits and their duration will be communicated at the time of enrollment. We reserve the right to modify Founding Member benefits with reasonable notice.

11. Intellectual Property

Eden, its design, features, content (excluding User Content), trademarks, and underlying technology are owned by Lion & Lamb, LLC. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of Eden without our written permission.

12. Termination

By You: You may delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in harmful conduct, or if we discontinue the service. We will provide notice when reasonably possible. In the event of service discontinuation, we will make reasonable efforts to allow you to export your data.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lion & Lamb, LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Eden.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Eden shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty dollars ($50), whichever is greater.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

Eden is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Eden will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

15. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration

Informal Resolution: Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least thirty (30) days.

Binding Arbitration: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Lion & Lamb agree to resolve it through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, or at a mutually agreed location.

Class Action Waiver: You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least thirty (30) days before they take effect. Your continued use of Eden after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
